Betty Elizabeth Smith Allred, age 82, of 6859 Kinro Rd., Liberty died Saturday, February 14, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.A graveside memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2009 at 2:00 PM at the Dr. Clyde M. Gilmore Memorial Park in Julian with Rev. Tim Friar officiating.Ms. Allred was a native of Alamance County and was retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation. She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in the Liberty Community, where she taught Sunday School. She was preceded in death by her son, Garrett H. Allred, Jr. She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Jennie W. Allred of Cary, NC; grandchildren, Garrett Allred of Cary, NC, Elizabeth Toler of Apex, NC, and Sharon Feiler of Wilmington, NC; brother, John Smith of Liberty, NC.Memorials may be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
