Charles Robert Bunting

Charles Robert Bunting, age 98, of 2018 Westchapel Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, December 10, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2008 at 11:00 AM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.Mr. Bunting was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Dixie Furniture as a sanding room foreman. He was a former member of the NRA and was a lifetime sportsman card holder with the NC Wildlife Commission. Charles was an avid woodworker, gardener, farmer and hunter. He is survived by his wife of 71 Years, Eula Trotter Bunting and son, Robert L. Bunting and his wife Ronda of Asheboro, NC.The family will receive friends on Friday, December 12, 2008 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
