Katie Tucker Underwood

Katie Tucker Underwood, age 90, of 301 Fox St., Randleman died Sunday, November 23, 2008 at her home. Mrs. Underwood was born July 31, 1918 in Randleman, NC the daughter of John T. and Florence Dunn Tucker, Sr. Mrs. Underwood was a member of Mt. Lebanon United Methodist Church and retired from Burlington Industries. Katie is preceded in death by her husband, Colon Underwood of 64 years. She is survived by one daughter: Janice and her husband Jimmy Stevens of Randleman, onegranddaughter Rhonda and her husband, Eddie Nunn of Randleman; one great grandson, Michael B. Nunn of Randleman, two sisters: Christine Brantley of Asheboro, and Lillie Mae Linthicum of Sophia and several nieces and nephews.The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 25, 2008 from 6:00-7:30PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC. A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, November 26, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev.
