James Ray Hayes

James Ray Hayes, age 58, of 288 Caudle Rd., Randleman died Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mr. Hayes was born March 15, 1950 in Asheboro, NC the son of Charles Oscar and Mada Trogdon Hayes. Mr. Hayes was a native of Randolph County and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church. He was employed by C&T Durham Trucking Company. He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Oscar Hayes. He is survived by his wife: Tammy Hayes; Daughters; Tammy & her husband, Cale Simmons of Randleman and Jamie and her husband Steven Baker of Randleman, NC; Grandchildren; Tyler Simmons and Lukas Baker; Mother; Mada "Aggie" Trogdon Hayes; one sister: Sherly Flinchum of Randleman and one brother: C.O Hayes, Jr. of Randleman. step sons, Chris Sheppard of Asheboro, and Steven Parrish of Randleman, NC; step grandchild, Haven Sheppard. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 18, 2008 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Friday, September 19, 2008 at 2:00 PM at New Salem United Methodist Church, 623 New Salem Rd., Randleman with Rev. Bernard Dougherty officiating.
