Virginia Lois Luther

Virginia Lois Yates Luther, age 74, of Asheboro died Monday, June 16, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Luther was born on November 8, 1933 in Randolph County to Eugene and Iola Yates. She was formerly employed in the textile industry and was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Ernest Luther, and brothers, Bobby Yates and Jimmy Yates. She is survived by her daughter, Lakita Adams and her husband, George of Asheboro, NC; grandsons, Dylan and Austin Adams of Asheboro, NC; mother, Iola Yates of Denton, NC; sisters, Iris Lassiter of Asheboro, NC, Pam McCoy of Spartanburg, SC; sister-in-law, Janet Yates of Asheboro, NC; niece, Kim Everhart of Asheboro, NC; and nephew, Zack McCoy of Asheboro, NC. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 22, 2008 at 3:00 PM at Mt. Shepherd United Methodist Church, 844 Mt. Shepherd Rd., Asheboro with Rev. J. Harold Hammond officiating.
