Elizabeth Sanders

Elizabeth Lib Sanders, age 77, of Asheboro died Sunday, January 27, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Elizabeth was born April 20, 1930 in Bainbridge, GA, to the late John W. Sanders and Maggie Taylor Sanders. She was a 1950 graduate of Asheboro High School and was retired from Black & Decker. She was a dedicated and active member of Grace United Methodist Church for years and more recently, of New Union United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her brothers Sterling H. Sanders, John Arthur Sanders and Fred Sanders. She is survived by her brother: Harris Sanders and wife Patty of Asheboro, NC; Sister-in-law, Margaret Sanders, and numerous nieces and nephews and their families The family will receive friends Tuesday January 29, 2008 from 12:45PM- 1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday January 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery.
