Evelyn Kiser Boone

Evelyn Kiser Boone, age 80, of 1019 Old State Hwy., Asheboro died Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Boone was born November 21, 1927 at Mooresville, NC the daughter of the late Tillman L. and the late Ada (Wilson) Kiser. She was native of Mooresville, NC, and worked part of her life in retail sales and was a homemaker. She is survived by her husband: Alvie Jason Boone, two daughters: Rhonda Boone Hutchens of Asheboro, NC, Shelia Wigington of Asheboro, NC and two sons: J. Darrell Boone of Arlington, VA, and A. Daniel Boone of Central, SC; two sisters: Mabel Griggs of Winston- Salem, NC, Elsie Land of Durham, NC; and 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren The family will receive friends Monday one hour prior to funeral service at Pugh Funeral Home. The funeral will be Monday at 2:00 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. L. D. Pritchard and Mr. Gene Bumgarner officiating.
