MaeBelle English, age 86, of 225 Mason St., Raeford, formerly of Asheboro, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at her home. Mrs. English was born September 7, 1921 in Hoke County and the daughter of Edgar and Savannah Stultz Collins. Mrs. English was a native of Hoke County and a homemaker. She was a member of Bailey's Grove Baptist Church. MaeBelle loved the Lord, her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her husband, Winfred Gilbert English, two sons, James Thomas English and Edward Lawrence English. She is survived by one son: Clarence English and Wife Margaret of Raeford, NC. 10 grandchildren, Amy English of Raeford, Keith English of Boston, Mass; Ronald English of Texas; Corinone Chapman, and Sharon English both of Raeford, Jimmy And Wife Pattie English of Climax, Kim And Husband Kenny Spence of Franklinville, Tanya English, Jessica English and Donna English all of Pleasant Garden, Daughter In Law, Audrey And Husband Ronnie Coltrane of Pleasant Garden. 10 Great grandchildren and 7 Great great grandchildren. Two sisters: Arlene Hartley of CA, and Sue Davis of Raeford, One brother: Donnie Collins of Emerald Isle. The family will receive friends Friday, December 28, 2007 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A Graveside Service will be held at 11:30 AM at Bailey's Grove Baptist Church Cemetery, 1556 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro with Paul Thomas officiating.
