Shelby Jean Williams

Shelby Jean Williams, age 71, of 4555 Plainfield Road, Sophia died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at her home. Mrs. Williams was born November 14, 1936 in Randleman, NC and the daughter of George H. and Mattie Wilson Lamb. Mrs. Williams was a native of Randolph County and a member of Caraway Baptist Church. She was formerly employed by Hadley People Inc., in Siler City. She is survived by three daughters: Chris Rich of Sophia, Patsy Hunt of Asheboro,and Tammy Hill of Sophia. Three sons: Richard Dub Allred of Sophia, Jimmy Dean Allred of Beulaville, NC, and George Dude Allred of Snow Camp. Three sisters: Eva Cooper of Randleman, Marie Pugh of Randleman, and Mattie Shuskey of High Point.13 grandchildren and14 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday, December 20, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Friday, December 21, 2007 at 2:00 at Caraway Baptist Church, 2928 Beeson Farm Road, Sophia with Pastor Jim Honeycutt and Rev. J. Arnold Luther officiating. Burial will be at Caraway Baptist Church Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Caraway Missionary Baptist Church, 2928 Beeson Farm Road, Sophia, NC 27350 and Hospice of Randolph, P.O.
