Faye Marie Cheek

Faye Marie Burnell Cheek, age 70, of 4044 Laurel Lane, Randleman was called to be with her Lord Monday, September 17, 2007 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Cheek was born on December 20, 1936 to the late John and Mabel Burnell. Faye was a member of Berean Memorial Baptist Church. She enjoyed her family, sewing, taking photos, reading her Bible and many trips to the beach. Mrs. Cheek is preceded in death by her brother Johnny Lee (Bunky) Burnell. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Roger D. Cheek, sons: Dale Cheek and wife, Vicky of Greensboro, Dane Cheek and wife, Lori, of Liberty, Dwayne Cheek of Randleman, and Zane "Rusty" Cheek of Greensboro. Sisters, Patsy Sizemore, Jackie Routh and Betty Coleman, 8 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 19, 2007 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, Randleman and other times at the home. A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 3:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park with Pastor Joe L. Farlow officiating. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the I.C. and Palliative Care Units of the Wake Forest Baptist Hospital for their excellent care and the support of all their friends who have helped them through this difficult time.
