Jesse Lawrence Smith

Jesse Lawrence Smith, age 69, of Linwood died Friday, August 8, 2014 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington. A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Bethany United Methodist Church Cemetery, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville. Jesse was born in Asheboro on July 29, 1945 to John Anderson and Myrtle Hooker Smith. In addition to his parents, Jesse was preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Kathleen Sharpe, Milford Anderson Smith, Ollie Edward Smith, Garland Smith, and John Junior Smith. He is survived by his sister, Margaret Elizabeth Dorsett of Asheboro. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is in charge of arrangements.
