Allene Ward Millikan

Allene Ward Millikan, age 88, of 628 Avondale Ave., Asheboro died Friday, September 14, 2007 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mrs. Millikan was a native of Randolph County, was retired from Burlington Industries and was a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Millikan and her daughter, Phyllis Turner. She is survived by her daughter, Bettye Packer of Jamestown, NC; sister, Dorothy Voncannon of Asheboro, NC; brother, Kenneth Ward of Franklinville, NC and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday, September 16, 2007 from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
