Harry Lee Markwood

Harry Lee Markwood, age 55, of 421 Brookwood Drive, Asheboro died Monday, August 20, 2007 at Wesley Long Community Hospital, Greensboro. Harry was a native of Randolph County, was a 1969 graduate of Asheboro High School and a US Army Veteran. He was a self-employed auto body repairman and former owner of V & M Motors of Asheboro. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Hill Markwood; daughter, Scarlett Berg of Whitsett, NC; step son, Rodney Miller of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Dora Clodfelter and Debbie Bunting of Asheboro, NC; brother, William Buddy Markwood of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 22, 2007 from 6-8 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held Thursday, August 23, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Sunset Avenue Church of God, 900 Sunset Ave., Asheboro with Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
