Ellen Voss Lineberry

Lou Ellen Voss Lineberry, 82, of Asheboro passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Kate B. Reynolds Hospice Home in Winston-Salem. 

Mrs. Lineberry was born in Randolph County, NC on December 4, 1938 to James Voss and Emma Horner Voss. Ellen was an active member of Concord United Methodist Church, participating in Sunday school groups as well as various church events. She greatly enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and loved her family. 

Ellen worked for many years at Klopman/Burlington Industries as an Executive Assistant.  After that, she spent over 20 years at Franklinville School working in the cafeteria.

Ellen is survived by her daughter, Michelle Clodfelter (Jason), and two grandchildren Nathan Clodfelter and Kiersten Clodfelter, all of Lexington.  She is also survived by her sisters, Faye Canoy (Larry) and Gale Brewer (James), both of Asheboro. In addition, she is survived by a very dear cousin, Judy Ferree (Bill) of Randleman.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Lineberry was preceded in death by her husband, Boyd Lewis Lineberry. 

The family will receive friends on Friday, November 26, 2021 from 6:00-8:00pm at Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro, 437 Sunset Avenue Asheboro, NC 27203. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 27, 2021 at 1:00pm at Concord United Methodist Church, 6009 Concord Church Road Ramseur, NC 27316.
