Carolyn Carlisle

Carolyn Palmer Carlisle, age 69, of Asheboro died Thursday, September 2, 2021 at GrayBrier Nursing and Retirement Center, Trinity.

Mrs. Carlisle was born September 8, 1951 the daughter of Joe John and Mary Palmer.  Carolyn was a native of Randolph County and a member at C-4 Church. She was a graduate of Eastern Randolph High School and Asheboro Business College. She had worked at Sew Special. Carolyn loved the Atlanta Braves and the Carolina Tar Heels. She enjoyed gardening flowers, especially roses and lantana. Her grandchildren were the apple of her eye. In addition to her parents, Carolyn is preceded in death by her husband, Doyle Carlisle, sisters, Odette Cagle and Nadine Tucker.

She is survived by her sons: Jason Carlisle (Kelly) of Whitsett, and Damon Carlisle (Melissa) of Randleman; grandchildren, Hallie Gail and Aiden; sister, Jodi Sibbett of Randleman; numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Pastor Ed Arroyo officiating.
