Diane Hinshaw Quakenbush, age 82, of Greensboro died Sunday, October 18, 2020. Mrs. Quakenbush was born July 28, 1938 in Randolph County to Claude and Mozelle Hinshaw. She was retired form Western Electric/ATT and was a member of Rehobeth United Methodist Church. Mrs. Quakenbush loved her dogs and liked to travel especially to races. She enjoyed spending time with her family and was a great cook. She is survived by sons, David Quakenbush and wife Valerie of Warner Robins, GA, Steve Quakenbush of Greensboro, Brain Quakenbush of Greensboro; grandchildren, Ashlee Crump, Kristin Crum, Kayla Quakenbush all of Warner Robins, GA, Brian Fitzsimmons of Warner Robins, GA, Kevin Quakenbush of Randleman, John Quakenbush and Adam Quakenbush of Greensboro; 9 great grandchildren; brother, Claude Hinshaw and wife Ann of Randleman. A graveside service will be held Thursday, October 22, 2020 at 3:00 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville, NC. Memorials may be made to Pets for Patriots, Inc., 218 E Park Avenue, Suite 543, Long Beach, NY 11561 or The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Donor Services, Team ChiLD, PO Box 98018, Washington DC 20090-8018 Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the family.
