Belinda Davis Hicks

Belinda Davis "Bink" Hicks, 51, passed away on September 20, 2020 at home with her husband Calvin Hicks of 32 years by her side. She worked at Teleflex for 25 years. She graduated from RCC in May 2019 with honors in Medical Office Assistance. Belinda was a member of Whites Memorial Baptist Church. She loved sitting on the porch holding her grandson and being surrounded by her family. Preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Barbara Davis, grandparents, James and Inez Davis, son, Kevin Hicks and sister, Peggy Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Heather and Brandon Hames of Franklinville, Leeann Hicks of Florida; sisters, Tammy Alderman, Jacquelyn McGuire and Penny Davis all of Franklinville; grandsons, Calvin Hames of Franklinville, Devin Hicks and Jaxson Moffitt of Florida; granddaughters, Savannah Lane and Rebecca Lane of Franklinville, Natalie Hicks of Sophia; nieces and nephews, Tabitha Haywood, A. J. Davis, Deajohna McGuire, Samantha McGuire, Joseph McGuire, Jonathan McGuire; great nephews, Landon Bullins, Evan and Wyatt Bullins. Mrs. Hicks will lie in state on Wednesday, September 23, 2020 from 1-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral service will be held Thursday, September 24, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, 2930 Whites Memorial Rd., Franklinville with Rev. Jeff Joyce and Rev. Allen Ritter officiating.
