Mina Allred Cole

Mina Inez Allred Cole, age 97, of Randleman passed away peacefully with her son by her side on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Atrium Health Mercy Hospital, Charlotte. Mina was born November 27, 1922 the daughter of Thomas Kelly Allred and Swannie Brower Shepherd Allred. Mrs. Cole was a native of Randolph County and a graduate of Randleman High School. She was a member of South Plainfield Friends Meeting. Mina worked in the textile industry for Mr. Jeans in Randleman and when the company moved to Asheboro their name changed to Fox Apparel where she continued to work until she retired. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cole was preceded in death by her husband, Reggie Altas Cole in 2009; and her sibling, Kelly Ray, Howard, Dot, Esther and Helen. She is survived by her son: Kenneth Ray Cole of the home; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family and friends. Mrs. Cole's body will lie-in-state, Wednesday, June 24, 2020 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral service will be held Thursday, June 25, 2020 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Rev. Hugh C. Spaulding officiating.
