Timothy Allen Graham

Timothy Allen “Tim” Graham, age 79, of Asheboro went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 27, 2020 at the Medical University of South Carolina, in Charleston, SC. Mr. Graham was born September 21, 1940 in Asheboro, to Walter Clayton and Minnie Allen Graham. Tim was a very creative problem solver who could fix or build anything. He had a huge heart and was a loving Christian husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother. Tim was a life counselor to all who knew him. He enjoyed wood working, welding, traveling, fishing and spending time at the lake. Most of all, Tim loved his family. Spending time with family and friends was his priority in life. He loved to laugh and lit up a room with his presence. He was employed by Klopman Mills, Burlington Industries, and Galey & Lord textiles before retiring after more than 40 years of service. In addition to his parents, Tim is preceded in death by his brother, Tex Graham. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Hilda Cole Graham of the home; daughter, Dawn Cox and husband Herbert of Asheboro; grandchildren, Samuel John Bremer IV, Brandon Cox and wife Allison; son, Timothy Tex Graham of Asheboro; grandchildren, Alexandra Maegan Graham, Eli Tex Graham, Ethan Boone Graham; great grandchildren, Samuel John Bremer V, Sophie Cox, Logan Cox, and Scarlett Cox; siblings, Barbara Delk and husband Henry, Michael Graham and wife Sandy, Randy Graham and wife Linda, Roxanne Langley and husband Jerry, Don Graham, Molly Sue Harmon and husband John, Mark Graham and wife Jean; and numerous nieces and nephews. All held him in the highest regard and loved him dearly. Tim will Lie in State at Farmer Missionary Baptist Church, 4566 Dunbar Bridge Rd., Asheboro on Wednesday, June 3, 2020 from 3:00pm - 4:00 pm.
