Thomas Jay "Tom" Gilmore

Thomas Jay "Tom" Gilmore, age 77, of Asheboro died Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Randolph Health. Mr. Gilmore was born September 17, 1942 in Marion, OH to Stewart and Helen Gilmore. Mr. Gilmore was a simple man who enjoyed nature and going to the beach. He was a former water plant operator for the City of Lexington and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his daughter, Stephanie Perdue and husband Tim of Pleasant Garden; grandchildren, Colton Perdue and wife Madison, Kaley Perdue; sister, Jaclyn Gilmore of Virginia. The family would like to give a special thanks to the Hudson Family Care for the love and care they provided for Tom. Memorials may be made to the organization of the donor's choice. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the family.
