William Keith Trogdon

William Keith Trogdon, age 64, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House Mr. Trogdon was born in Randolph County on August 10, 1955 to Earl Walton Trogdon, Sr. and Thelma Banks Trogdon. He was a 1974 graduate of Southwestern Randolph High School where he played football and golf. Keith was the former owner/operator of Trogdon Heating & Air Conditioning, and was formerly employed with Asheboro Auto Mall, Dan Thomas Pontiac, and Wayne Thomas Chevrolet. He was a former volunteer with the Ulah Fire Department, a former coach for the Asheboro City Parks & Recreation Department, and a driver for RCATS. In addition to his parents, Keith was preceded in death by his grandson, Jayden Montgomery, brother, Earl Walton Trogdon, Jr., and sister, Joyce Brantley. He enjoyed boating, fishing, the beach, and was devoted to his family and loved serving the Lord. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Margaret Jessup Trogdon; daughters, Crystal Barker and husband Kenneth of Asheboro and Jessica Palmieri and husband David of Asheboro; grandchildren, Peyton, Devin, and Jamyn Barker and Cameron, Logan, and Ashton Palmieri; brother, Randy Trogdon and wife Donna of Georgetown, SC; and best friend and canine companion, Duke. Mr. Trogdon's body will lie in state on Tuesday, May 19, 2020 from 1:00-4:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. A private service will be held.
