Christopher Windsor Owens

Christopher Windsor Owens, age 48, of Asheboro died Monday, May 11, 2020. Mr. Owens was born March 14, 1972 in Randolph County. Christopher, also known as "Chris" or "O" attended Asheboro High School. He loved music, was an awesome drummer and enjoyed sports. Chris was preceded in death by his father, Harold G. Owens. He is survived by his wife of 18 years, Wendy Wetherington Owens; mother, Karen A. Owens of Asheboro; sister, DeAnne Lawson and husband Michael of Asheboro; brother, Jeff Owens and wife Debbie of Fayetteville; half-brothers, Greg, Brad, Michael and Mitchell Owens; loving nieces and nephews, Seth Greeson, Chelsey Greeson, Raven Lawson, Rayne Lawson, Ryder Lawson, Amanda Hayes, Jeffrey Owens, Nathan Jordan and Mary Beth Jordan; 9 great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held at a later date. The family request memorials be made to the Disabled American Veterans, Dept Of NC, PO Drawer 28146, Raleigh, NC 27611.
