Hazel Anna Raker Strassner

Hazel Anna Raker Strassner, age 97, of Asheboro died Tuesday, April 7, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Strassner was born May 28, 1922 in Mifflinburg, PA to Willard and Mary Raker. Mrs. Strassner was a homemaker and seamstress. She was a member of Sheraton Park Free Will Baptist Church in Greensboro. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Strassner was preceded in death by her husband, Morris J. Strassner and 4 siblings. She is survived by daughter, JoAnn Edmonson and husband Robert of Asheboro; son, Frederick Strassner and wife Susan of Carlisle, PA; 3 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; brother, Willard Raker, Jr of Mifflinburg, PA. A private service will be held Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro. A graveside service will be in Northumberland Memorial Park in Sunbury, PA.
