Walter Rayvon Faulkner

Walter Rayvon Faulkner, age 86, of Randleman died Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Faulkner was born in Montgomery County on October 18, 1933 and spent most of his life in Randolph County. He was a self-employed cabinet maker. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sadie Mae Faulkner. Rayvon loved to mow and garden. He loved chewin' backer. He enjoyed picking and kidding around with his family and others. Rayvon had a special way of saying goodbye, "peo pa pokey" and those were his last words to his family Tuesday morning. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by daughter and her husband: Carcelia (David) Morris of Denton, NC; daughter: Shelia Bailey of Franklinville, NC; grandchildren: Michael (Angela) Glass; Andy Glass; Mandy (Brian) Coppley, Tina Clark; Jamie Frazier; and Gilbert Frazier. The family will receive friends Thursday, March 5, 2020 from 11:00 AM - 12:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow in the funeral home chapel at 1:00 PM with Rev. Tommy R. Kidd Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
