Sammy Regalbuto, age 74, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, March 2, 2020 at Randolph Hospice House.
Mr. Regalbuto was born in Akron, OH on January 3, 1946 to Frank and Kathryn Alexander Regalbuto. Sammy served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was retired from Accuchrome and following his retirement, was employed with Perfect Finish.
Sammy loved working with his hands. He was a Master Craftsman & perfectionist at everything he did from his job to his passion for restoring cars.
He would do anything for anybody and never expect anything in return.
A true gentleman to all women and a voice of reason & reality for men.
He loved going to car shows, eating good food and making people laugh.
Sammy loved his Family and always put them first in everything he did.
He was a great man and treasured not only by his family but the many Friends who became Family over the years. He will truly be missed because there will never be another….Sammy Regalbuto. God Bless him.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Shawn Trubee Regalbuto; daughter, Samantha and husband Lee Lipka of Medina, OH; son, Steve Regalbuto and wife Shannon of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; grandchildren, Branden Lipka, Chloe and Nick Regalbuto.
A celebration of Sammy's life will be held on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at 3:00 at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.
