Emro Lee Emory Carnish, age 81, of Asheboro died Friday, December 27, 2019 at Cross Road Retirement Community Memory Care Unit, Asheboro.
Mrs. Carnish was a native of Randolph County and was born on December 12, 1938 to Henry and Mary Grace Frye Emory. Lee was a true social butterfly that loved to talk over a cup of coffee. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh and tell stories. In addition to her parents, Lee is preceded in death by her two half brothers, Michael and Gary Boggs.
She is survived by her daughters: Cindy Willetts Cockman of North Myrtle Beach, SC and Lynn Willetts Hartsell of Asheboro; son, Dean (Belinda) Willetts of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jennifer (Mike) Roberts, Drew (Shannon) Hamlet, Chris Willetts, Cameron (Candice) Cockman, and Clarke Cockman; 3 great grandchildren and one on the way; and her special canine companion, Chloe.
The family will receive friends on Monday, December 30, 2019 from 1:00 - 1:50 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A Celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel.
