Chloe Marie Ball Carter, age 85, of Randleman died Monday, December 16, 2019 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro.

Mrs. Carter was born April 20, 1934 the daughter of Guy and Oma Ball. Chloe was a native of McDowell County, W. Va. She was a member of North Asheboro Church of God and retired from Jockey in Randleman. Chloe had a giving heart and enjoyed cooking and canning apples. Also she loved playing bingo, Yahtzee, putting together puzzles and going fishing. In addition to her parents, Chloe is preceded in death by 5 brothers, 1 sister and granddaughter, Amy Greathead.

She is survived by her husband: Aubrey Carter; daughter, Debra Greathead and husband Thomas of Mooresville; son: Richard Mullens and wife Linda of Stokesdale; granddaughter, Melissa Rumple and husband Scott; great granddaughters, Morgan and Kara Rumple, step daughters, Brenda Willard of Archdale and Carolyn Byerley of Greensboro.

The family will receive friends Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 10:30-11:45 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will follow at noon in the chapel, with Pastor Lee Carter officiating. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Park, Rural Hall.
