But when my boss email me and said he was attending a service today for a RCC board member. I had no idea it was you're husband. You're family is in my prayers and he did so much for our community.

Wednesday, October 23, 2019Mr. Lorimer was a mentor and encourager in my tenure at South Asheboro Middle School during the mid 90's. He had an insight into solid educational practices and looked for "win-win" outcomes. A classy individual, he invested mightily in the students under his care as well as the staff around him. A quiet leader, Mr. Lorimer looked for the good in others and sought consensus in his decision making. A man with a servant heart, Mr. Lorimer was someone to esteem as a positive role model. I will miss seeing him on this earth. Dr. Daniel Goble

He was an amazing teacher and would do anything to help those he was around. He helped me when I was in school to be the best I could. Heaven will be sweeter cause he is there. I hope the family knows he touched many and will never be forgotten. He was loved by everyone. My sympathy and prayer will be with his family. When I think of him I smile. He would always get down on his knees when he seen me and hug me. He was an inspiration to everyone. I was blessed to have known him
