RANDLEMAN; Dwight Easley Smith, age 73, of Randleman died Sunday, July 8, 2018 at his home.

Mr. Smith was born May 20, 1945 the son of Neal Easley and Esther Jane Wall Smith. Dwight was a native of Guilford County and served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was self employed in many endeavors his early life,but retired from Southern Rubber Company in Greensboro. In addition to his parents, Dwight is preceded in death by his step son Christopher Edwards.

He is survived by his wife: Vickie Matthews Smith; son, Dwight Smith (Kym) of Randleman; grandsons, Shay Albert and Nick Smith; sister, Pat Mills (Jerry) of Level Cross; brothers Neal Smith (Anna Jo) of Greensboro and Jim Smith of Randleman.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 11, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 12, 2018 at 11:00 am at Centre Friends Meeting Cemetery, 325 NC 62 Hwy, Greensboro with Rev. Jerry Mills officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Memorials may be made to Level Cross Baptist Church, 10169 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Randleman, NC 27317.
