Zephyr Cook Allen

Zephyr Cook Allen, age 83, of Heartland Living and Rehabilitation of Greensboro died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 7, 2010 at 1:30 pm at Central United Methodist Church with Dr. Mark J. Key officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Allen was a native of Denton, a homemaker and a member of Central United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Allen, sister, Pallie Cook Davis and brother, Bobby Cook. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Ginger A. and Tom Gooding of Greensboro; grandchildren, Clay and Cameron Gooding; brother, Guy Cook of Lexington. The family will receive friends Sunday, November 7, 2010 from 12:30 - 1:30 pm at Central United Methodist Church, 300 South Main Street, Asheboro.
