Zane Alexander Moore

Zane Alexander Moore, infant son of Jerry "JJ" and Susan Watkins Moore of Troy passed away Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Duke University Medical Center, Durham. He is preceded in death by his paternal great-grandparents: Jesse and Rena Moore, Betty Bowersox; his maternal grandfather: Kenneth Watkins; his maternal great-grandparents: Van and Maxine Harris, Sam Jeffrey and Maude Watkins. In addition to his parents he is survived by one sister: Kenley Moore of the home; maternal grandmother: Barbara Watkins of Troy; paternal grandparents: Jerry Moore, Sr. of Newport, Brenda Durham, also of Newport, NC. The family will receive friends Wednesday, February 17, 2016 from 6-8 pm at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134N, Troy; other times at the home. The funeral will be Thursday at 2:00 pm at First Wesleyan Church with Dr. Edward E. Lindsey officiating. Burial will be in Forks of Little River Baptist Church Cemetery, Troy. Even though Zane was only with us for a short time he was so loved and touched the hearts of so many people. He was a fighter until the very end. We will see you again one day son. Love You.
