Yong Jones

Yong Sun Kim Jones, age 62, of Asheboro died Sunday, May 6, 2018 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital.

Ms. Jones was a native of Seoul, South Korea and was employed with Sunbridge Retirement Center.  Her pride and joy in life was her granddaughter, Piper.  Yong was a very outgoing, friendly lady who always found the best in people.  She enjoyed vacationing with her family and loved going to church. She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James and Amanda Jones of Asheboro and her granddaughter, Piper Jones of Asheboro.

A memorial service will be held Thursday, May 10, 2018 at 6:00 PM at East Side Baptist Church, 1616 E. Dixie Dr., Asheboro with Pastor Troy Carter officiating.  The family will receive friends following the memorial service at the church.
