James Worth Heath, age 78, of 4255 Bull Run Creek Road, Franklinville died Monday, July 14, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.
A life-long resident of Randleman, Worth founded Heath Amusements in 1972, and operated it until his retirement in 2001. He was preceded in death by his wife Hallie Routh Heath in January, 2000.
He is survived by one daughter: Sherry Heath Graham and her husband Rick; two grand-daughters, Tammy Hayes Simmons and her husband Cale, and Jamie Hayes Baker and her husband Steve; two great grandsons, Tyler Simmons and Lukas Baker all of Randleman; and several nieces & nephews.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, July 16, 2008 from 6:00 PM-9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC, other times at his home.
A Celebration of Worth's Life will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM at New Salem United Methodist Church, 623 New Salem Rd., Randleman, NC. Entombment will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
