Woodrow Long Caudill

Woodrow Long Caudill, age 94, of 787 McDermott St., Asheboro died Sunday, March 30, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 2, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Barry L. Queen officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Caudill was a native of Statesville, NC and retired owner of Caudill Grocery in Robbins. He was a member of Central United Methodist Church and the Robbins Masonic Lodge #555. Mr. Caudill was preceded in death by his wives, Jessie Auman Caudill and Stella Reeder Caudill; daughter, Sylvia Caudill Garner and his brothers, Tyrell, Poe, Ray, S. G. and R. L. Caudill, Jr. He is survived by his son and his wife, John L. and Frances Caudill of Robbins, NC; daughter and her husband, Rose Ann and Wendell Seawell of Asheboro, NC; step son and his wife, David and Martha Burrow of Thomasville, NC; step daughter and her husband, Bonnie and Larry Bradham of Greensboro, NC; brothers: Baines Caudill of Asheboro, NC, Vance Caudill of Candor, NC, Mitchell Caudill of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Annie Mae Kern of Seagrove, NC, Virginia Owens of Raleigh, NC; grandchildren, Mark Caudill, Alex Caudill, Penny Caudill, Connie Loy, Keith Garner, Mike Garner, Cindy Forrest, Julie Snow, Lou Ann Queen, Heidi Atwell; step-grandchildren, Jonathon Burrow, Andy Burrow, Robbie Atwood; 16 great grandchildren and 1 step great grandchild. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 1, 2008 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, other times at the home of his daughter, Rose Ann Seawell, 457 Lindsey St., Asheboro.
