Winona Lucille Hill

***Due to the weather, Mrs. Hill's services has been changed to Monday, January 25, 2016.*** Winona Lucille Hill, 83, passed away on Jan. 19, 2016. Mrs. Hill was born in Randleman, N.C. to Winona Bernice Lam Hanner and Julius Carroll Hanner. She attended Randleman High School and worked for many years as a nursing assistant at Dalton and Cochran Pediatrics. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in Lake City, F.L. where she also worked at Lake City Medical Center, formerly known as Division Hospital. She was preceded in death by two sons, Chester "Chet" A. Hill and Randal "Randy" B. Hill. She is survived by her husband of 61 years: Earl Bryan Hill, son: Gregory J. Hill of Asheboro, N.C., two sisters: Linda K. Hylton (Larry) of Oak Island, N.C. and Carolyn V. Smith (Jerry) of Raleigh, N.C., a brother: Roscoe L. Hanner (Joan) of Charlotte, N.C., two grandchildren: Diana N. Hill and Alexander N. Hill, both of Burlington, V.T., a sister-in-law: Margaret A. Hogan (Thurman), two brothers-in-law: Robert "Bobby" C. Hill (Jean) and John J. Hill (Mary), all of Asheboro, N.C., and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave. Asheboro, NC and the funeral service will follow in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Jerry Smith officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
