Winnie York McAden

Winnie York McAden, age 94, of Randleman died Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. McAden was born August 1, 1916 the daughter of William and Roella York. Mrs. McAden was a native of Randolph County, a homemaker and a life time member of Providence Friends Meeting. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Winford McAden and son, Samuel E. McAden. She is survived by daughter: Betty Staley of Franklinville; sons: William McAden and Jimmy McAden both of Randleman, and Roy McAden of Whisett, NC; 10 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Friday, October 1, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC and other times at the home of Jimmy McAden, 1210 New Salem Rd., Randleman. The funeral will be held Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Providence Friends Meeting, 2054 Providence Church Rd., Pleasant Garden with Rev. Brandon Dockery and Rev. Bill Barns officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family would like to give a special "Thank You" to the staff at Carolina House for all their loving care and attention during Winnie's stay.
