Winnie Hinshaw

Winnie Hayes Hinshaw, age 91, of Cary NC, previously a life-long resident of Randleman, NC, died Saturday, December, 28 at Hospice of Wake County, Raleigh. Mrs. Hinshaw was born September 14, 1922 the daughter of Charles and Virginia Wall Hayes. Mrs. Hinshaw was a native of Randolph County and a member of New Salem United Methodist Church of Randleman. Winnie is preceded in death by her husband, Burt Branson Hinshaw; sister: Lillian H. Pugh; and brothers: C.O. Hayes, Sr. and Dennis Hayes. She is survived by one daughter and her husband: Gay and Lewis Davis of Cary, NC; granddaughter and her husband: Melissa S. and Jeff Inman of Apex, NC; granddaughter and her husband: Kimberly S. and Scott Ward of Holly Springs, NC; great grandchildren, Peyton and Addison Inman and Branson Ward; and one sister: Amy H. Lee of Colorado Springs, Colorado. The funeral will be Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at 2:15 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Joyce Bunn officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. The family will receive friends prior to the funeral service from 1:15 to 2:00 PM at the funeral home. The family will also receive guests the evening prior to the funeral service at the home of her daughter (Gay Davis), 808 Water Hickory Dr. Cary, NC 27519 from 6:00 to 7:30pm. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to New Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery Fund, 623 New Salem Rd., Randleman, NC or to Hospice of Wake County 250 Hospice Circle Raleigh, NC 27607.
