Winifred Elizabeth Segler

Winifred Elizabeth Segler, age 85, of 4021 Millikan Rd., Sophia died Sunday, August 22, 2010 at her home. Mrs. Segler was a native of Brooklyn, NY and worked with West Islip, NY School Cafeteria for 10 years. Mrs. Segler was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and truely loved spending time with her family. Winifred enjoyed cooking, taking walks and was friendly to all she met. She is preceded in death by her husband, Frederick Mearline and husband, Vincent Segler; brothers, Robert Miller and Willard Miller. She is survived by daughter: Susan Schoeppler and Johnny of Sophia, NC; step-daughter, Linda Root and her husband Bob of Somers, CT.; step-daughter, Pat Laughlan and her husband, Al of Somers, CT.; grandchildren, Tracey Graham, and her husband, Carey; Robert Schoeppler and his wife, Matia; Elizabeth Schoeppler; Amanda Schoeppler and Jeff Cagle; Jimmy Laughlan and wife, Brigitte; Danny Laughlan and wife, Meghan; Cindy Reynolds and husband, Glenn; Wendy Root; Brandon Moran and Cameron Moran; 10 great grandchildren; sister: Virginia Donohue of Amityville, NY and brother: Francis Knox Miller of Garden City, NY. A graveside service will be held Tuesday, August 24, 2010 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Kenneth L. Reaves officiating.
