Wilmer Jeremiah Hall

Wilmer Jeremiah Hall, age 90, died Sunday, January 19, 2014 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mr. Hall was born September 18, 1923 in Damascus, Ohio to Edwin and Catherine Lehmon Hall and was a member of Mountain View Independent Methodist Church in Asheboro. He was retired from Burlington Industries and was formerly employed with Hall's Transfer and B.B. Walker Shoe Company. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy H. Hall, Daughter, Carol Pierce & her husband Ottis, of Trinity, granddaughter, Elizabeth Pierce of Trinity, NC; and sister, Elsie McDowell of Asheboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 21, 2014 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be held Wednesday at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. View Independent Methodist Church, 1530 Mt. View Church Rd., Asheboro with Pastor Brian Hauk and Pastor David Hunt officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
