Wilma Jane Shoaf Brown

Wilma Jane Shoaf Brown, age 95, of 706 Pineywood Rd., Thomasville and formerly of McDermott St., Asheboro died Monday, March 14, 2011 at Thomasville Medical Center. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 2:30 PM at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. David Spaulding officiating. Mrs. Brown was a native of Thomasville where she attended Hasty High School. She was formerly employed with Asheboro Hosiery and was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church. She was a member of Randolph Chapter #210 Order of the Eastern Star. Wilma Jane was preceded in death by her husband Edgar Brown, and her sisters Mildred Kennedy and Ava Walker. She is survived by her sister, Juanita Thomas of Asheboro; nieces and nephews, Judi Osborne of High Point, James Thomas of Greenville, Chris Thomas of Asheboro, and Marlene Craver of Thomasville; and several great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 19, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to Calvary United Methodist Church, P.O.
