Wilma Lee Burrow

Wilma Lee Routh Burrow, age 86, of Cross Road Retirement Community and formerly of Shamrock Rd., Asheboro died Monday, August 8, 2011 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2011 from 12:00 noon-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Bill and Linda Burrow, 3133 NC Hwy 49 S., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Drew McIntyre officiating. Burial will be in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Burrow was a native of Randolph County and was retired from Union Carbide. She was a member of West Bend United Methodist Church and was preceded in death by her husband, Jesse W. Burrow and her brothers Fred Routh and Frank Routh. She is survived by her sons, Bill Burrow and his wife Linda of Asheboro, NC, Don Burrow of Ocean Isle, NC, Rusty Burrow of Leland, NC; daughter, Ellen Jones and her husband David of Roanoke, VA; grandchildren, Adam Jones and his wife Rachael of Kings Mountain, NC, Samuel Jones of Charlottesville, VA, Mark Jones of Blacksburg, VA, Beth Chriscoe and her husband Matt of Shallotte, NC, Bruce Burrow of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Clara Bulla of Asheboro, NC and Jane Reich and her husband Rodney of Winston-Salem, NC.
