Willie Gentry Smith

Willie Gentry Smith, age 79, of Randleman died Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation. Mr. Smith was born March 27, 1936 in Roxboro to Willie Thomas and Lucille Newcomb Smith. He was retired from Acme-McCrary. In addition to his parents, Mr. Smith was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah Mashburn. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Saunders Smith; daughter, Sheila Smith of Randleman; son, Gentry Smith and wife Angel of Randleman; 3 grandchildren; sisters, Libby Welborn of Siler City, Beatrice English of Bennett, Glenda Leonard of Bennett; brothers, Ray Smith of Asheboro, Jerry Smith of Pittsboro. The family will receive friends Friday, September 4, 2015 from 10:00 - 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 AM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Giles Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery.
