William Hobson Talbert

William Hobson "Butch" Talbert, age 69, of 517 Worthville Rd., Randleman died Monday, August 12, 2013 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mr. Talbert was a 1963 graduate of Bessemer High School in Greensboro and had retired from Offutt Publishing in Greensboro. Butch enjoyed fishing, going to the beach and to the flea malls and was known in Worthville as the "produce man". He loved talking to people and getting to know them personally. He is survived by his wife: Lori Allred Talbert of the home; son: Arlie Coy Talbert of the home, sister: Phyllis Talbert Bradley and her husband Ward of Reidsville, NC; several nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 14, 2013 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317. The funeral will be Thursday, August 15, 2013 at 2:00 pm at Bethany United Methodist Church, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville, NC with Chaplain Dan McKenney officiating.
