William Roger Patterson

William Roger Patterson, age 75, of Asheboro, died Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Randolph Hospital. Mr. Patterson was born March 16, 1938 in Moore County to Troy and Lillian Patterson. He was the owner of Randolph Acoustical and Drywall, Inc until his retirement. At that time the business was past on to his sons. Mr. Patterson enjoyed spending time hunting, preparing deer patches and working with tractors. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who enjoyed passing advice and wisdom on to others to "Enjoy yourself while you can!". He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Wilma Hoover Patterson; sons, Rodney Patterson and wife Mary Neal, Chad Patterson and wife Annette; grandchildren: Jack, Luke, Gray and Jacob; sister, Joan Blessing. The family will receive friends Friday, January 17, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 18, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, 300 South Main Street, Asheboro with Dr. Terry L. Matthews officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church Cemetery.
