William Nelson "Billy" Rarick

William Nelson “Billy” Rarick, age 55, died Saturday, November 20, 2021, at High Point Regional Hospital.

Billy was born in Kinston, NC on October 18, 1966, to Raymond and Ethel Hoyer Rarick.

Billy grew up in Asheboro and graduated from Asheboro High School, class of 1984.  He worked for several years at Clothes Warehouse, Asheboro as a supervisor.  He loved the University of Tennessee Volunteers and WWII Airplanes, and he had a great distain for anything Duke!  He was a family man and adored his grandchildren. 

Billy is survived by his wife: Diana Staley Rarick; daughters: Alicia Matthews (Stuart) of Liberty; Ashley Cruz (Joseph) of Franklinville; grandchildren: Alexis, Lucas, Cheyanne, Maggie, Emily, Clara, and Bentley; his mother and father-in-law: Betty and Larry Staley of Franklinville. 

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at 6:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Ave. Asheboro, NC, with Pastor Bruce Dickerson officiating.  The family will receive friends prior to the service from 5:00-6:00 PM at the funeral home.
