William Darrell Mount

William Darrell Mount, age 55, of Troy died Monday, October 16, 2017 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst, NC.

Mr. Mount was born August 17, 1962 in East Brunswick, NJ the son of the late Richard Darrell and Ruth Ann (Sharp) Mount.

He was employed by Allied Universal in Seven Lakes, NC, as a Security Professional. He was a whole-hearted, kind, man of God, a gentle giant of a man.

He is survived by two sisters: Darilyn M. Thompson of Troy, NC and Brenda M.Batten and husband, Phillip of Troy, NC; one brother: Richard D. Mount and wife, Julie of Star, NC; Uncle, James Mount and wife, Florence of Mt. Gilead, NC; Goddaughters, Fawn Apgar and Kayleigh Apgar; Nieces, Pamela Batten, Jodi Griffin, Felicia Mount, Heather Mount; and nephews, Stephen Batten, and Garrett Griffin.

A Memorial Service honoring Darrell will be held on Friday, October 20, 2017 at 3:00 PM at Laurel Hill Baptist Church, Candor, NC.

In lieu of flowers, monetary Memorial donations may be made to State Employees Credit Union in c/o Darilyn Thompson.
