William McCoy Moore

William McCoy Moore, Jr., age 61, of 4745 Pisgah Covered Bridge Road, Asheboro died Friday, May 20, 2011 at his home. Mr. Moore was born September 27, 1949 in Fort Bragg, NC, the son of the late William McCoy and the late Gladys Saunders Moore. Mr. Moore served three tours of duty in Vietnam in the Army Special Forces. He also served on the Arts & Crafts Committee of the Waccama tribe in South Carolina. He was the owner of Moore's Remodeling. Coy is survived by his wife, Beverly; daughters, Victoria England, Victoria Chavis, Heather Mahan, Angel Lobo Kent, and Gina Korten; son, William McCoy III; sister, Tammy Moore; brothers, Don Moore, Frankie Moore, Jimmy Moore and Bobby Wright, Jr.; and 16 grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, May 23rd from 5:30 - 6:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
