William Gray "Bill" Lloyd

William Gray Lloyd, 86, of Kingston, Tennessee, succumbed to cancer at his home surrounded by his family on March 9, 2015. Bill is survived by his wife Peggy Laughlin Lloyd of 61 years, daughter Kim and son Mark and his wife Delle. He was a graduate of N.C. State University in 1953 and began working for TVA as a mechanical engineer,retired after a career of 35 years. Bill served in the U.S. Army and the Air Force Reserves. He enjoyed a good game of golf with family and friends and boating on Watts Bar Lake. Preceded in death by his parents, Robert T Lloyd Sr and Mary Ida Gray Lloyd, brother Robert T Lloyd Jr, sisters; Ruth L Tonkins and Frances L Thomas. Funeral service to be held at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro, NC on Saturday March 14,2015 at 11 am. Family will receive friends following the service.
