William Cecil Hilliard

William Cecil Hilliard, age 81, of 4526 Hilliard Lane, Randleman died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Cecil was a native of Chatham County and one of the former owners of Hilliard Brothers Lumber Company in Randleman. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Randleman and served in the US Air Force from 1951-1955. Cecil is preceded in death by his brother, Ray Hilliard. He is survived by his wife, Betty Allred Hilliard; son William Cecil Hilliard, II (Bill) and his wife Donna of New York, NY; daughter Diane Pugh of Sophia; grandchildren Tiffany and Tyler Pugh both of Sophia; sister Jennette Morris and her husband Jerry of Independence, Va; brother DB Hilliard and his wife Eugenia of Kernersville, NC. The family will receive friends Friday, January 27, 2012 from 5:30 - 8:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 2:00 pm at First Baptist Church, 100 N. Main St, Randleman with Rev. Chris Heppding and Rev. Kenneth Reaves officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 100 N.
