Willa Mae Cagle

Willa Mae Frye Cagle, age 83, of Asheboro died Sunday, December 2, 2007 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro. Mrs. Cagle was born in Randolph County, NC, the daughter of the late Worth Buren and the late Vada Lillian (Cranford) Frye and a graduate of Farmer High School Class of 1942. She was a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church and formerly employed with Acme McCrary Hosiery Mill, Sew Special, and other hosiery manufacturers in the Asheboro area. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Fred Edward Cagle, a grandson, John Matthew Cagle, and brothers Worth and Lloyd Frye. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Monte and Pam Cagle of Marietta, GA; grandsons, Christopher and Michael Cagle. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12:00-1:30 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Dickerson and Rev. Adrian Pugh officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph MemorialPark.
